How to use Spotify with Bike+
The World Champ Tech family of Apple Watch workout apps are designed to fuse seamlessly with the AirPods to create a magical workout experience. Spotify can lay down the beats and provide a sound track to enhance that experience!
To use the Spotify app on your Apple Watch with the World Champ Tech Workout apps you must have a Spotify Premium or Family Premium subscription. Next, you must download a playlist to your Apple Watch - spoken coaching notifications from World Champ Tech’s Workout apps require music to be played directly from the Apple Watch, and not a paired iPhone. Before downloading a playlist, you must first create a new playlist and add you favorite workout songs. Next, click the ⋯ button (the three-dot button) to show the edit playlist screen. From the edit playlist screen, select Download to Apple Watch to begin downloading the playlist to your Watch. It may take some time to download the entire playlist depending on it’s length, and the download proceeds faster when both your Apple Watch and iPhone are connected to Wifi. We recommend beginning the download process when your Watch is connected to Wifi and on its charger for the fastest download performance.
Downloading a Spotify playlist to an Apple Watch
Spotify doesn’t provide a notification when the download is complete, so you must check that the playlist is completely downloaded by viewing the downloads in the Spotify app on your Apple Watch. Verify that the number of downloaded songs on the Apple Watch matches the number of songs in the playlist on your iPhone.

Finally, select the playlist, then make sure the music is playing from your Apple Watch by selecting the Apple Watch as the playback source from the main Spotify Playback screen. The Spotify Playback screen will show an iPhone icon if connected to your iPhone. Click on the iPhone icon and then select your Apple Watch to change the playback source. You will also have to select your AirPods as the playback destination. Select ▶︎ to begin playback, then start your workout in any of World Champ Tech’s workout apps.
